CARE HORIZONS MAKES ROYAL CONNECTIONS
Care Horizons CEO marks milestone at launch of King Charles III book
On 14th November, Vierka Hiscock, Care Horizons’ CEO and Managing Director, attended the launch of King Charles III: The Leadership and Vision of a Modern Monarch, a book created to mark the HM King Charles III’s birthday. The launch, held at Claridge’s in central London, saw contributors to the book gather to celebrate this momentous occasion and also to celebrate their hard work and determination for their fields of industry.
For its role in supporting South Gloucestershire families and acting as a beacon of good will, Care Horizons contributed to this exciting book, with CEO Vierka invited to attend the launch.
“It was an honour to be part of HM The King’s birthday celebrations by contributing to this wonderful book. The launch was an exciting opportunity to meet friends and colleagues, and celebrate our future-facing monarch and his commitment to improving the care sector.
King Charles III: The Leadership and Vision of a Modern Monarch ‘charts HM The King’s life from his celebrated birth and early years, through his role and responsibilities as HRH The Prince of Wales, to his accession and coronation as King. The book reflects on the ideas and issues that he has championed along the way and how he intends to shape the monarchy of today and tomorrow. It also highlights examples of achievement and progress across social, cultural, technological and commercial spheres.
As part of its contribution, the book includes the work Care Horizons does as well as Vierka’s story on how she has positively changed the business since she took over, quoting, ‘Care Horizons is one of the most cherished specialist healthcare providers in the southwest and are successful due to looking after the wellbeing of both their clients and staff members’. They dedicate their time to ‘supporting people with mental-health conditions, including those with autism and learning difficulties’. They do their best to allow clients to stay at home to ensure they can enjoy their independence.
Being included in this book has been an incredible honour for Care Horizons and we hope that we can benefit as many people as we can and help improve the care sector for the better.
“On behalf of Care Horizons, we wish his Majesty a Happy Birthday and thank author Robert Jobson for welcoming us to be part of his work”, concludes Vierka.
